About
Lime can be found rarely on the ground, but with the Quarrying Skill learned
Lime Pits can be Dug for
Lime Boulders. Lime Boulders Dug from a Lime Pit come in variable sizes, with the bigger Lime Boulders giving more
Lime when Chipped, ranging from 100 to 5. From left to right, 100, 25, 15, 10 and 5 pieces. The higher your Mines & Mountains Proficiency the better the chance of Digging up bigger Lime Boulders. Learning Ambitious Excavation will help you Dig out Boulders faster.

A Boomstick can be used to blow up a Boulder. To blow up a Boulder select your Boomstick from your inventory and right-click it on a source of Fire, such as a lit
Torch or
Fireplace. This will turn your Boomstick into a
Lit Boomstick. You must now quickly select your Lit Boomstick and right-click it onto the Boulder you wish to blow up. Blowing up a Boulder will scatter it's Stones in a short radius around where the Boulder was. You can then pick them up if you wish to save them.
Additional Uses
Clay
- Fill a Vessel with
Potable Water.
- Add a 2x
Lime to the Water by selecting a Lime from your inventory and right-clicking on your Potable Water to make
Milk of Lime.
- Select your
Milk of Lime and right-click it on your
Clay Trough. A Clay Trough can hold 10
Buckets (100L) of Milk of Lime.
- With
Any Shovel equipped, Dig the ground to get
Dirt, which you will hold over your head. You can carry up to 15 clumps of Dirt.
- With the
Dirt over your head right-click the
Clay Trough to dump in the Dirt. This will produce 1x
Clay for each clump of Dirt you drop in. Each clump of Dirt will consume .5L of Milk of Lime, so a full Clay Trough can produce 200 Clay before needing to be re-filled.
Limed Hides
A full Bucket of Milk of Lime can make 4
Limed Hides. There is a chance that you will receive a
Slimed Hide when crafting a Limed Hide if you have any Madness levels.

Lime is a fertilizer for raising a fields Plenty, but lowers Speed.
