How to Lime Hides

  1. Place a Raw Hide on a Drying Frame icon.png Drying Frame. It'll become a Dried Hide icon.png Dried Hide after about 8 hours. NOTE: Dried Squirrel Pelt icon.png Dried Squirrel Pelts cannot be used to make Limed Hides.)
  2. Select a Lime icon.png Lime and right-click it onto a Vessel filled with Potable Water icon.png Potable Water to make Milk of Lime icon.png Milk of Lime. NOTE: Using Milk of Lime with concentrations less that .4% may not work correctly.
  3. Using the Limed Hide icon.png Limed Hide recipe craft a Limed Hide. A full Bucket icon.png Bucket of Milk of Lime can make 4x Limed Hides.

How to Make Clay

  1. Fill a Vessel with Potable Water icon.png Potable Water.
  2. Select a Lime and right-click it on your Vessel of Potable Water to make Milk of Lime icon.png Milk of Lime.
  3. Select your Milk of Lime and right-click it on your Clay Trough icon.png Clay Trough. A Clay Trough can hold 10x Bucket icon.png Buckets (100 Liters) of Milk of Lime.
  4. With Any Shovel icon.png Any Shovel equipped, Dig icon.png Dig the ground to get Dirt icon.png Dirt, which you will hold over your head. You can carry up to 15x clumps of Dirt.
  5. With the Dirt over your head right-click the Clay Trough to dump in the Dirt. This will produce 1x Clay icon.png Clay for each clump of Dirt you drop in. Each clump of Dirt will consume .5 Liters of Milk of Lime, so a full Clay Trough can produce 200x Clay before needing to be re-filled.
