Beaches
About
Beaches are a Terrain type which are exclusively found abutting Bodies of Water. Generally, Beaches cannot be built on or Paved over. There are 3x types of Beaches in the New World.
Rocky and Sandy Beaches
Rocky Beaches and Sandy Beaches look slightly different but have no actual differences in terms of Forageables or Creatures. Rarely Dead Whales can be found washed up Rocky and Sandy Beaches, even far from The Ocean. No one knows how they got there. Digging on Rocky or Sandy Beaches will both produce Sand, and rarely a Horseshoe Crab, and will not affect the terrain at all, meaning a single tile can be Dug infinitely.

Clay Beaches
Clay Beaches are very similar to Clay Pits, but whose shape is dictated by the Lakes or Pond it surrounds. For this reason, Clay Beaches are rarely suitable for large scale Clay gathering. Unlike the other Beaches, no Creatures are found here. Digging on Clay Beaches will produce Clay, and uncommonly a Misshapen Lump of Clay, and will lower the terrain slightly.
