A Boomstick can be used to blow up a Boulder. To blow up a Boulder select your Boomstick from your inventory and right-click it on a source of Fire, such as a lit Torch or Fireplace. This will turn your Boomstick into a Lit Boomstick. You must now quickly select your Lit Boomstick and right-click it onto the Boulder you wish to blow up. Blowing up a Boulder will scatter it's Stones in a short radius around where the Boulder was. You can then pick them up if you wish to save them.

# With Any Shovel equipped, Dig the ground to get Dirt, which you will hold over your head. You can carry up to 15 clumps of Dirt.

# With the Dirt over your head right-click the Clay Trough to dump in the Dirt. This will produce 1x Clay for each clump of Dirt you drop in. Each clump of Dirt will consume .5L of Milk of Lime, so a full Clay Trough can produce 200 Clay before needing to be re-filled.

About

Lime icon.png Lime can be found rarely on the ground, but is more commonly obtained by Chipping a Lime Boulder icon.png Lime Boulder with Any Axe icon.png Any Axe or Any Pickaxe icon.png Any Pickaxe. Alternatively a Lime Boulder can be crushed in a Stamp Mill icon.png Stamp Mill or blown up with a Lit Boomstick icon.png Lit Boomstick. Selecting a Lime icon.png Lime and right-clicking it on a Vessel of Potable Water icon.png Potable Water will make Milk of Lime icon.png Milk of Lime, used in making Clay icon.png Clay or Limed Hide icon.png Limed Hides. Lime counts as Stone icon.png Any Stone in recipes. Lime can be stored in a Stockbin icon.png Stockbin.

From left to right, 100x, 25x, 15x, 10x and 5x Lime pieces.

With the Quarrying Skill learned, and Any Shovel icon.png Any Shovel equipped, you can Dig icon.png Dig Lime Boulder icon.png Lime Boulders from a Lime Pit icon.png Lime Pit. Lime Boulders come in variable sizes, with the bigger Lime Boulders giving more Lime icon.png Lime when Chipped, ranging from 5 up to 100. The size of your Lime Boulder is based on chance, your Mines & Mountains icon.png Mines & Mountains Proficiency, and whether or not you have learned the Ambitious Excavation Skill. Rarely you will Dig up a very small Lime Boulder. Chipping this Lime Boulder will give you a single Little Limestone icon.png Little Limestone. When used in place of Lime in a Ore Smelter icon.png Ore Smelter, a Little Limestone will increase the number of Bar of Any Metal icon.png Bar of Any Metal that are produced. Each Lime Boulder Dug from a Lime Pit will lower the terrain slightly. If the terrain is too step you will be unable to Dig further, making it possible to exhaust a Lime Pit of Lime.
