About

A Beetle icon.png Beetle can be found most commonly by Lift icon.png Lifting any Boulder icon.png Boulder that has sat long enough on the surface and looking underneath. Additionally a Beetle can be found by chance inside Hollow Log icon.png Hollow Logs and Hollow Stump icon.png Hollow Stumps, Dissecting a Frog icon.png Frog, Releasing a Bug in a Blanket icon.png Bug in a Blanket, or grown by placing a Grub icon.png Grub is placed in any Container for a few days.

Bug Purity

Any Bugs icon.png Any Bugs can have their Purity altered by selecting the Bug and right-clicking it on Any Plant icon.png Any Plant. The Bug will then consume the plant and take on that plant's Purity. This is a direct transfer of Purity, meaning feeding Any Bug a Plant can cause its Purity to increase OR a decrease, so be careful.

Pests

A Gardening Pot icon.png Gardening Pot can't be Destroyed by normal means, Pests can instead be applied to Gardening Pots by selecting a Pest and right-clicking it on the Gardening Pot. Each Pest added will reduce the Gardening Pot's Purity until it reaches reaches 0, then each additional Pest will do damage instead, at 100% damage the Gardening Pot will break.
