About
If a Grub is placed in a Container for a few days it will grow into a Beetle. A Grub can also be found when looking in Hollow Logs and Hollow Stumps. Additionally Lifting a Granite Boulders or Stone Boulders found on the surface may reveal Beetles, Grubs, a Salamander, or rarely, a Creepy Centipede or Scorpion, hidden beneath them. When picking up an Abandoned Cobweb or Dead Silk Runner there is a small chance to receive a Bug in a Blanket. Right-clicking and selecting Release on a Bug in a Blanket will give you another Abandoned Cobweb and a Beetle, or a rarely a Ladybug, or a Giant Willow Aphid.
To give your Beetle a Purity, select it from your inventory and right-click it on Any Plant. The Beetle will consume the Plant and gain that Plant's Purity.
A Gardening Pot can't be Destroyed by normal means, but requires the use of a Pest such as a Beetle, Caterpillar, Giant Willow Aphid, or Slim Stickbug. To Destroy a Gardening Pot select a Beetle from your inventory and right-click on the Gardening Pot. You will need enough to first lower the Gardening Pot's Purity to 0, after than each Pest added will begin to deal damage. Each Beetle reduces the purity by 1.
