In-Game TextAnd twelve valiant sons of the great-souled Trojans slew he with the bronze - and grim was the work he purposed in his heart and thereto he set the iron might of fire, to range at large. -Homer, 850 BC The only peace to be found in the Lumberwoods comes with death, and a secure, proper burial. Burial Rights instructs Pilgrims on the ritual of burying the remains of those no longer with us to keep their spirits and the spirits of their decendents safe and sound. IntermentThe Corpse of any pilgrim who has Permanently Died will decompose into a Skeleton in about 24 hours. To make the most of your Inheritance is important to recover and protect the Skeleton of your ancestors. With the Larceny Skill learned, pilgrims can right-click and select "Desecrate" to permanently Destroy your Skeleton after a couple of Days, preventing you from Interring your Skeleton or Paying Respects. Desecrating a Skeleton will give you that Skeleton's Pilgrim's Skull but will leave Larceny Scents. The best way to protect your Skeleton is to inter it under a Tombstone or inside a Crypt. NOTE: A Skeleton can be Lifted, but can NOT be loaded into Landcraft or Watercraft. Interment Option 1: Burial
WARNING! A Tombstone is subject to Grave Robbing - a criminal can Dig up your Coffin and retrieve your Skeleton.
Interment Option 2: Entombment
Unlike a Tombstone, a Crypt is not subject to Grave Robbing. Overview
Paying RespectsInterring a dead pilgrim, made from the same account as yours, allows you to Pay Respects to them once every 10 hours, by selecting the appropriate Any Flower and right-clicking in on their Tombstone or on the pedestal inside their Crypt. Each time you do this you will receive 10% of the difference between your Proficiency and theirs, based on the Flower you chose. NOTE: Currently there is no Flower that gives Cloak & Dagger or Herbs & Sprouts. |
