About

If a Grub icon.png Grub is placed in a Container for a few days it will grow into a Beetle icon.png Beetle. A Grub can also be found when looking in Hollow Logs and Hollow Stump icon.png Hollow Stumps. Additionally Lifting a Granite Boulder icon.png Granite Boulders or Stone Boulder icon.png Stone Boulders found on the surface may reveal Beetle icon.png Beetles, Grub icon.png Grubs, or rarely, a Creepy Centipede icon.png Creepy Centipede, hidden beneath them. When picking up Abandoned Cobweb icon.png Abandoned Cobweb there is a small chance to receive a Frosted Web icon.png Frosted Web or a Bug in a Blanket icon.png Bug in a Blanket as well. Right-clicking and selecting Release on a Bug in a Blanket will give you another Abandoned Cobweb and a Beetle icon.png Beetle, or a rarely a Ladybug icon.png Ladybug, or a Giant Willow Aphid icon.png Giant Willow Aphid.

WARNING! There is a very small chance when picking up an Abandoned Cobweb a Silk Runner spider will jump out and attack you.

To give your Beetle a Purity, select it from your inventory and right-click it on Any Plant icon.png Any Plant. The Beetle will consume the Plant and gain that Plant's Purity.

A Gardening Pot icon.png Gardening Pot can't be Destroyed by normal means, but requires the use of a Pest such as a Beetle icon.png Beetle, Caterpillar icon.png Caterpillar, Giant Willow Aphid icon.png Giant Willow Aphid, or Slim Stickbug icon.png Slim Stickbug. To Destroy a Gardening Pot select a Beetle from your inventory and right-click on the Gardening Pot. You will need enough to first lower the Gardening Pot's Purity to 0, after than each Pest added will begin to deal damage. Each Beetle reduces the purity by 1.
