AboutGranite can be found rarely on the ground, but is more commonly obtained by Chipping a Granite Boulder with Any Axe or Any Pickaxe to recieve 25x Granite. Alternatively a Granite Boulder can be crushed in a Stamp Mill or blown up with a Lit Boomstick. With the Granite Excavation Skill learned, and Any Shovel equipped, you can Dig Boulders from a Quarry or the Mountain biome. Whether you Dig up a Granite Boulder or a Stone Boulder is based on chance, your Mines & Mountains Proficiency, and whether or not you have learned the Ambitious Excavation Skill. While Granite counts as Any Stone in recipes, it has a unique Pavement style. Granite can be stored in a Stockbin. |
