Homestead

WARNING! Having your Homestead Destroyed while you are off-line will cause you to lose all your Inventory and equipped items!

Your Homestead is your personal link in the New World, which must be tied to either a Lean-to icon.png Lean-to or a Stake Claim icon.png Stake Claim. Being at your Homestead will allow you to Fast Travel ... to Providence icon.png ... to Providence. While you can only have one Homestead at a time, you can change it as frequently as you like. It is vital that you protect your Homestead as it is the place where your equipped items and Inventory is stored when you are off-line, as well as having no Homestead will not allow you to log-off and Summoned Criminal's will be instantly killed. With the Larceny Skill learned, right-clicking someone's Homestead while they are Offline will give you the option to "L3wt". Selecting L3wt will show you the you their equipment and Inventory. Looking is NOT a Crime however taking any of those items IS a Crime! icon.png Crime! and will leave Evidence Theft.png Evidence of Larceny.

About

Stake Claim, aka personal claim(Pclaim), Use to claim an area as your personal property, anyone who doesn't have permission step in or doing any action will cause Crime and leave Scent icon.png Scents.

When first built, a 5x5 area around the claim stone is claimed. You can expand it by spending Silver Pieces through it's manage menu, right-click it to open.

You can have as many claims as you want, but you can only have one homestead.

All claims need upkeep of 4 + ('number of claimed tiles' / 300) per day. The claim stone can hold upkeep money for 6 months.

WARNING! If your PClaim's upkeep money runs out, Other player can enter freely and doing anything, and will NOT leave Scent!


Stake Claim can only be destroy by 3 ways:

  • Declaiming - The owner can Declaiming the Claim in manage menu, but this will NOT return any Silver Pieces to you, nor any Silver Pieces used to expand the claim.
  • Eminent Domain - Other players can use Town Claim cover your Pclaim and destroy it, because Tclaim have higher authority than Pclaim, so this action will NOT leave Scent.
  • Abandoned - if your PClaim stay unpaied for too long it will be destroyed due to the decay.


WARNING! If your homestead got destroyed, you will lose ALL the item in your inventory and equipments!
