In-Game Text

"All hope abandon, ye who enter here."

– Dante Alighieri, The Divine Comedy, Inferno, Canto III

It comes at times to pass that the letter of the law and directest route happen not to coincide. Unto those unconcerned with coincidence Trespassing grants the ability to enter, open, or otherwise examine items and objects of Homesteaded property.

Committing Trespassing

Trespassing is an act of Crime where a pilgrim enters property protected by a Stake Claim icon.png Stake Claim that they do not have permission to enter. Trespassing will NOT leave Summonable Evidence, but will leave a Scent icon.png Scent which will remain for 1 day. While any pilgrim can commit Trespassing without having learned the Trespassing Skill, looking into or interacting with any Structures, such as entering Buildings or looking into Containers, also known as Ransacking, one must first learn the Trespassing Skill. This will additionally leave Scents which will last for one day.

CAUTION: Trespassing on another pilgrim's claim will cause your Black Bile to quickly drain.

Criminal Acts

In order to commit most Crimes Criminal Acts icon.png Criminal Acts must be toggled on. Toggling it off prevents you from committing most Crimes. Certain Criminal Acts drain Black Bile when they are being committed. Your Criminality Artifact Bonus may be able to reduce this drain.
