A Hickory Nut can be found in the wild, or Picked from a Hickory Tree, or found by chance when Rummaging though a 
Squirrel Stash.
A Hickory Nut can be stored a 
NutSack.
Most Nut Trees can be found in the wild or grown. Nut Trees can be grown by Planting the appropriate Nut in a 
Gardening Pot with the Nut Orchards Skill. When Planted Cuttings sometimes die and instead of a Tree you will receive a single 
Branch. The higher your 
Flora & Fauna Proficiency, the less likely that it to happen. Planting in Gardening Pots lowers Insanity. To Plant a Tree which has sprouted in a Gardening Pot, 
Lift the Pot then right-click the ground and select Plant.
