About
Any Fish have a variable weight, starting from 0.50 kilograms and increaseing. For every 0.25 kilograms of weight you will receive a Filet of Any Fish when right-clicking a Any Fish and selecting "Butcher". When Butchering a Fish you will also receive a Fish Skeleton and rarely Rainbow Scales, a Swim Bladder, or The Elusive Last Bone. A Any Fish can be dried on a Drying Frame to make a Dried Any Fish or can be boiled in a Clay Pot or Copper Pot to make Fish Broth. Any Fish will add a variable amount of fill points when added to a Compost Bin based on their weight.
How to Fish
- Select Any Bait and right-click it onto Any Casting Rod. Lures can later be removed by right-clicking the Rod.
- Equip your now baited Rod to you right hand slot.
- Select Fish action, this will cause the cursor to change.
- Click on any Body of Water. Casting a Rod removes a small amount of Insanity.
- If Any Fish bites it will be transferred automatically to your Inventory. There is a chance nothing bites. Each time you cast it adds wear to both your Lure and your Rod. When the wear reaches 100% it will break. Wear is reduced by your Flora & Fauna Proficiency.
Although still being tested, the strongest factors for catching a particular Fish seem to be whether it is Salt or Fresh Water and individual water tile being Fished from. Bait has a small influence and Rod does not seem to have any.
Fish Purity
Any Fish caught will take their Purity directly from the Bait used to catch it. A Fish Hook takes on the Purity of the Bar of Any Metal used in its construction. This Purity is passed onto Any Lure which is made from it. A Common Earthworm receives its Purity from Worm Purity and a Grub's purity comes from Bug Purity.
