Construct a Trial By Combat to being a Trial against and enemy homestead.  The Trial begins a few hours after it has been constructed.  A Trial may be ended in the first one hour with the plaintiff being sent to the stockades.  If the Trial by Combat is destroyed, the Trial immediately ends and the accused is found innocent.

Once the Trial is underway, any homestead under the trial with active scents maybe be summoned as if the Trial itself were his homestead.
 
 
 
Murder may be summoned after four hours.
 
Waste may be summoned after eight hours.
 
Revenge may be summoned after ten hours.

A Trial by Combat icon.png Trial by Combat, commonly known as a "TBC", is an aggressive Structure used to Summon Criminals to pay for their Crime! icon.png Crime!s.

Trial by Combat

Building a Trial by Combat icon.png Trial by Combat will project a 1000x1000 tile shadow in the direction the weapons point. If a Criminal's Homestead in under that shadow, after a set amount of hours, determined by the type of Crime! icon.png Crime!, they will be Summoned to the Trail by Combat. Criminal's whose Homesteads are under the shadow of a Trail by Combat CANNOT change their Homesteads. A Trial by Combat may be ended early by being Destroy icon.png Destroyed, by the Criminal being sent to the Stocks, or by waiting 26 hours. A Trial by Combat CANNOT be built on Claimed land, nor can it be Claimed over. A Trial by Combat cannot be Salvage icon.png Salvaged.

How to Use a Trial by Combat

  1. Build your Trial by Combat icon.png Trial by Combat so that its shadow covers the Homestead of the Criminal. Note: The weapons face forward.
  2. Select your Evidence icon.png Evidence and right-click it onto the shadow of the Trial by Combat and select "Accuse".
  3. Wait the amount of time determined by the Evidence you have. Right-clicking on the shadow of the Trail by Combat with your Evidence will display the time remaining.
  4. Right-click the Evidence on your Trail by Combat and select "Bring to Trial".
