About

A Lean-to icon.png Lean-to is the earliest Claim Type pilgrims have available to them in the New World and can be marked as your Homestead by right-clicking the Lean-to and selecting "Make Homestead". Up to 2x Lift icon.png Liftable Structures can be stored inside a Lean-to by Lifting them and right-clicking on your Lean-to. Taking Structures stored inside a Claimed Lean-to you don't own will leave Evidence Theft.png Evidence of Larceny and attempting to Destroy icon.png Destroy a Lean-to will leave Evidence Vandalism.png Evidence of Waste NEITHER of these Criminal Acts will give the Criminal the Crime! icon.png Crime! debuff, nor will it trigger nearby Aggressive Defense Structures unless protected by another Claim Type. For these reasons a Lean-to is generally considered a fairly weak Claim. A Lean-to cannot be Salvage icon.png Salvaged. Destroying a Lean-to will also Destroy any Structures stored inside.

Homestead

WARNING! Having your Homestead Destroyed while you are off-line will cause you to lose all your Inventory and equipped items!

Your Homestead is your personal link in the New World, which must be tied to either a Lean-to icon.png Lean-to or a Stake Claim icon.png Stake Claim. Being at your Homestead will allow you to Fast Travel ... to Providence icon.png ... to Providence. While you can only have one Homestead at a time, you can change it as frequently as you like. It is vital that you protect your Homestead as it is the place where your equipped items and Inventory is stored when you are off-line, as well as having no Homestead will not allow you to log-off and Summoned Criminal's will be instantly killed. With the Larceny Skill learned, right-clicking someone's Homestead while they are Offline will give you the option to "L3wt". Selecting L3wt will show you the you their equipment and Inventory. Looking is NOT a Crime however taking any of those items IS a Crime! icon.png Crime! and will leave Evidence Theft.png Evidence of Larceny.
