Build a fishing pole and equip it on your character. Construct a lure and equip the lure to the fishing pole (click lure to pick it up, then right-click on pole while the lure is being dragged by cursor).
 
  
Now click your Adventure menu and click the Fish icon, the cursor will change to a crucifix at which point you can click on water to start fishing.

You should see your character approach the water's edge if not already there and then cast a line and see a bobber floating in the water. After some time you would get a bite where your character starts to struggle and menus will begin to popup with 3 random options. Once your character starts winning the battle (he starts leaning backwards) you should start to see the Reel In option in the popup manus, click that and you should get a fish in your inventory.

Fish Purity

Any Fish icon.png Any Fish caught will take their Purity directly from the Bait used to catch it. A Fish Hook icon.png Fish Hook takes on the Purity of the Bar of Any Metal icon.png Bar of Any Metal used in its construction. This Purity is passed onto Any Lure which is made from it. A Common Earthworm icon.png Common Earthworm receives its Purity from Worm Purity and a Grub icon.png Grub's purity comes from Bug Purity.
