About

The brain is obtained when butchering an dead deer, beaver or March Hare AFTER a character learns Tanning.
While it can be studied as an Inspirational, its main purpose is to prepare water as Tanning Fluid for tanning a Limed Hide.
To do this, pick up the brain and then right click on a Bucket of Water or a filled Tanning Tub.
One brain in 10.0 L of water makes a 5.0% solution of Tanning Fluid. You can use 2 brains in the same Bucket of Water to get a 10.0% solution.
