A  Hydrukey is an aggressive Creature which can be found in any biome in The  Darkness, but is most commonly found in the  Coniferous biome. Seeing a Hydrukey adds a tiny bit of Insanity.
Combat Behavior
Hydrukeys are aggressive and fast; they will attack any pilgrim who wanders too close. Aggro can be avoided by wearing a  Hydrukey Headdress.  Peck is a Hydrukey's main attack which will deal 10, 30, or 60 Blood damage by chance. Hydrukeys are capable of Murder and if a pilgrim is Knocked Out while fighting a Hydrukey it will decide by chance whether or not to use  Killing Blow. Its choice may be based on how angry you made it - how many times it found itself blocked by terrain objects such as Trees or Hollow Logs. Overall Hydrukies seem to have about a 1 in 3 chance of using the Killing Blow of a Knocked Out pilgrim, striking from it's middle head. Hydrukeys are immune to both  Venom Dart and  Potent Venom Darts.

A Hydrukey will occasionally drop  Hydrukey Dookies on the ground behind it while wandering around.
With the Monster Hunting Skill learned, Plucking a Hydrukey will yield 4x  Hydrukey Feathers.
NOTE: It is important to Pluck the carcass first, otherwise the Butchering will ruin the Feathers.

There is a chance to get various rare items from Butchering. This chance is much higher with the Viscera & Bits Skill learned.
