Learning Fruit Orchards readies the Pilgrim with the necessary patience and teachings to cultivate seasonal fruit trees, that they might enjoy the boughs' bounties! AboutFruit Trees cycle through three distinct phases: A Dormant Stage, a Blossoming Stage, and a Ripe Stage. A Fruit Tree spends each Coldsnap and begins each Everbloom in the Dormant Stage. At a point determined by chance, during an Everbloom, a Fruit Tree will transition into the Blossoming stage, denoted by flowers blossoming on the tree. If a Fruit Tree is Pollinated during this stage it will switch to the Ripe Stage. This is the stage where Fruit can be picked. Potable Fruits
PollinationA working Butterfly Conservatory or working Bee Skep will pollinate nearby Fruit Trees during an Everbloom. While a Butterfly Conservatory has a longer pollination range, a Bee Skep can transfer Purity onto the Fruit Trees ultimately making a Bee Skep preferable. The Purity of pollinated Fruit Trees will slowly move towards the Purity of the Bee Skep. The Purity of a Bee Skep is equal to the Purity of the Hay used in it's construction. This Purity is then pass onto Fruit picked from the Fruit Tree. How to Plant in a Gardening Pot
Gardening PurityThree factors influence Gardening Purity. The Purity of the Humus, the Purity of the Plant, and the Purity of the Gardening Pot. The Harvested Plant will be the average Purity of these three factors weighted towards the Humus. The formula is: Resulting Plant = ((Humus*2)+Pot+Initial Plant)/4. Any time the Resulting Plant's Purity is higher than the Gardening Pot's, the Gardening Pot's Purity will permanently increase by up to 2.56%.
