− | + | # Fishing Pole: "May be required for high tier fish" - needs confirmation; do poles have any effect or is it only the lures? |
Revision as of 15:54, 15 May 2012
Instructions
- Construct a fishing rod and lure.
- Equip the fishing rod (requires both hands free) and lure (shift-click to pick it up then right-click the fishing rod).
- Click the Fish icon under the Adventure menu, the cursor will change to a crucifix.
- Click on a body of water.
After a short while a fish will bite. After this, a window will pop up every few seconds presenting you with three random options. One option will cause the fish to be reeled in, one will do nothing, and one will let the fish pull away. The options themselves can be quite random, but their effect will be consistent at the same location (needs confirmation).
Your character's stance indicates your advantage over the fish. The further back you are leaning the closer you are to successfully catching the fish.

Fish PurityAny Fish caught will take their Purity directly from the Bait used to catch it. A Fish Hook takes on the Purity of the Bar of Any Metal used in its construction. This Purity is passed onto Any Lure which is made from it. A Common Earthworm receives its Purity from Worm Purity and a Grub's purity comes from Bug Purity. |
