Quarry

About

A Quarry, also known as Stone Pit, or Stone Quarry, are scattered throughout the New World and range and size and shape. Generally, Quarries cannot be built on or Paved over. Creatures are not typically found on Quarries, although a Creature may wonder onto one from time to time. With the Quarrying Skill learned, and Any Shovel equipped, you can Dig Boulders from a Quarry. With the Granite Excavation Skill learned you will have a chance to Dig up a Granite Boulder instead. The chance of Digging up Granite Boulder is based on chance, your Mines & Mountains Proficiency, and whether or not you have learned the Ambitious Excavation Skill. Each Boulder Dug from a Quarry will lower the terrain slightly. If the terrain is too step you will be unable to Dig further, making it possible to exhaust a Quarry of Boulders.
