In-Game Text
"If you seek the kernel, then you must break the shell. An likewise, if you would know the reality of Nature, you must destroy the appearance, and the farther you go beyond the appearance, the nearer you will be to the essence."
- Meister Eckhart, 1260 - 1328
What more bounty could be wrought from the Earth than that which dangles in the sky overhead? Through learning Nut Orchards the skilled farmer is capable of planting nut-bearing trees and watching them grow into fruitful additions to this arboreal collection.
About
Nut Trees can be found in the wild or grown by Planting the appropriate Nut in a Gardening Pot with the Nut Orchards Skill. When Planted Cuttings sometimes die and instead of a Tree you will receive a single Branch. The higher your Flora & Fauna Proficiency, the less likely that it to happen. Planting in Gardening Pots lowers Insanity. To Plant a Tree which has sprouted in a Gardening Pot, Lift the Pot then right-click the ground and select Plant.
