Limed Hides are crafted from the crafting window, and not interactively by using a bucket filled with milk of lime on a dried hide. You will need a bucket filled with Milk of Lime in your inventory and any dried hide. Each lime consumes 1/4 (250ml) of a bucket, allowing 4 Limed Hides to be crafted per bucket.

Rabbits and Timber Rattlers are the cheapest sources of hides for leather. Squirrel hides can't be used.

There is a chance that you will receive a Slimed Hide when crafting a Limed Hide if you have any Madness levels.
