A Rabbit icon.png Rabbit is a non-aggressive Creature which can be found abundantly in nearly all the biomes of the New World. Rabbits don't like Timber Rattler icon.png Timber Rattlers and can often be found attacking them. Rabbits are usually found in groups of three to five. There are 3 species of Rabbit, each of them have different color fur and different stats.

Description: This Rabbit has red-hue fur. It has the highest HP, but moves the slowest. This Rabbit has greyish fur. It has a medium HP and speed. This Rabbit has brownish fur. It has the lowest HP, but moves the fastest.

NOTE: Some Rabbits may actually be a March Hare icon.png March Hare in disguise and will transform when attacked. Pilgrims should take caution when attacking pure white Rabbits.

NOTE: A Rabbit will be lost if killed over Shallow Water.

A Rabbit, once killed, can be picked up and stored in your Inventory as a Dead Rabbit icon.png Dead Rabbit. When picking up a Dead Rabbit there is a chance to receive a Carrot icon.png Carrot or very rarely, a Tiny Pocketwatch icon.png Tiny Pocketwatch. With the Hideworking Skill, Butchering a Rabbit will yield 1x Raw Rabbit Skin icon.png Raw Rabbit Skin.

With all relevant Butchering Skills learned, Butchering a Rabbit will always yield:

There is a chance to get various rare items from Butchering. This chance is much higher with the Viscera & Bits Skill learned.
