About

Hollow Log.png

Hollow Logs are most abundantly found in Forests, but can be found in nearly every Biome. They can be used as container with 8 slots, or Chopped to produce Woodblocks. The only way to spawn a new Hollow Log is by Chopping down a Exploration Events or an Exploration Events.

WARNING! Lifting a hollow log may spawn Timber Rattler. The chance for this increases as the player ventures further into the Darkness.


Each time a Hollow Stump or Hollow Log is loaded from server there is a chance for one of these items to spawn at random inside:

Early Game

In the Early Game Hollow Logs and Hollow Stumps are a valuable source of Silver icon.png Silver. Dried Timber Rattler Skin icon.png Dried Timber Rattler Skins can be sold for 4 Silver and Indian Arrowhead icon.png Indian Arrowheads and Indian Feather icon.png Indian Feathers can be combined into Savage Charm icon.png Savage Charms which sell for 30.

Additionally Abandoned Cobweb icon.png Abandoned Cobwebs and Dried Timber Rattler Skin icon.png Dried Timber Rattler Skins can be used in Clothing recipes to avoid Hypothermia.
