Baby Bear pumpkins are the Tier 1/Stage 1 crop of a Pumpkin field. If you do not already have Seeds of Pumpkin then in order to start growing pumpkins in your field you first need to plant a New World Gourd into a Gardening Pot which has a random chance of resulting in either Baby Bear, Green Bell Peppers or Red Bell Peppers. Then you can slice Baby Bears grown in pots until you collect enough Seeds of Pumpkin to plant in a field.

Remember, when planting a New World Gourd it is most efficient to study the first 9 uses before planting.
