About
With Any Axe or Any Pickaxe Chip a Ore Boulder to get Ore or a Boulder to get Stone. Rarely instead of an Ore or Stone you will instead receive a Sterling Geode or Whetstone at the same Purity as the Boulder.
By selecting a Whetstone from your inventory and right-clicking on Weapons such as Adventurer's Rapier, Claymore, Executioner's Axe, Halberd, Golden Halberd, Nobleman's Rapier, Pirate Captain's Sword, or Spanish Sabre, you can Sharpen it, transferring the Purity from the Whetstone onto the Sword and permanently increasing its damage. This will consume the Whetstone. Purity increases the amount of damage done by the Sabre by up to 10% for 100% Purity.
Caution! A Whetstone counts as Any Stone in recipes, when crafting or Paving make sure the correct item is selected.
