How to Fish Select Any Bait and right-click it onto Any Casting Rod. Lures can later be removed by right-clicking the Rod. Equip your now baited Rod to you right hand slot. Select Fish action, this will cause the cursor to change. Click on any Body of Water. Casting a Rod removes a small amount of Insanity. If Any Fish bites it will be transferred automatically to your Inventory. There is a chance nothing bites. Each time you cast it adds wear to both your Lure and your Rod. When the wear reaches 100% it will break. Wear is reduced by your Flora & Fauna Proficiency. Although still being tested, the strongest factors for catching a particular Fish seem to be whether it is Salt or Fresh Water and individual water tile being Fished from. Bait has a small influence and Rod does not seem to have any.
