How to Make Paper

  1. Using the Rags recipe, turn any item of Clothing into 2x Rags icon.png Rags.
  2. Select one of the Rags icon.png Rags in your inventory and right-click into onto the other of the Rags icon.png Rags to Roll them into a Ball of Rags icon.png Ball of Rags.
  3. Select a Vessel of Potable Water icon.png Potable Water and right-click into onto your Ball of Rags icon.png Ball of Rags to get a Soggy Rag Ball icon.png Soggy Rag Ball. Or select your Ball of Rags icon.png Ball of Rags and right-click it onto the The Shallows icon.png The Shallows.
  4. Select the Soggy Rag Ball icon.png Soggy Rag Ball and right-click it onto a Trip Hammer icon.png Trip Hammer to make Rag Pulp icon.png Rag Pulp. Note: This will drain Phlegm.
  5. Select the Rag Pulp icon.png Rag Pulp and right-click it onto an empty to a Paper Screen icon.png Paper Screen to get a Wet Paper Screen icon.png Wet Paper Screen.

How To Write a Book

  1. Gather your Paper icon.png Paper, Quill icon.png Quill, and a bottle of Indigo Ink icon.png Indigo Ink.
  2. Select your Quill and right-click on your Indigo Ink which will make an Inked Quill icon.png Inked Quill.
  3. Right-click your Inked Quill on a sheet of Paper. This will open a text box. Putting you Inked Quill back into your Inventory will cancel this action.
  4. Copy, paste or type up to 1000x characters into the text box. Hit enter to then transform your Paper it into Scribbled Paper icon.png Scribbled Paper. NOTE: Having a line break in your text will prevent you from transforming your Paper.
  5. Do this at least one more time - you need at least 2x sheets of Scribbled Paper.
  6. Put your Scribbled Paper in the order, along with Amber Coarse-Grain Thread icon.png Amber Coarse-Grain Thread, and 2x Leather icon.png Leather into a Sewing Frame icon.png Sewing Frame.
  7. Right-click your Sewing Frame and select "Bind Book" to create your Book icon.png Book.
  8. Right-click on your new Book to give it a title.
