Note that the mushrooms you gather are poisoned before you cook them. They will drain your maximum humours by up to 20%, reducing over time (the debuff can take over half an hour to wear off completely). This poison can be removed through boiling in a [[Cauldron]], [[Clay Pot]] or [[Copper Pot]]. [[Witch's Hat]], [[Waxing Toadstool]], [[Waning Toadstool]], [[Yellow Morel]] and [[Spooky Redcap]] are poisonous. All other mushrooms are safe.

The icon will change when the mushroom has been boiled (being now poison free) and the name will change to [[Boiled Waxing Toadstool]].
