Ceramics & Crucibles

In-Game Text
"The clay holds the blow-pipe when it is put into the furnace, whereas the shield preserves the eyes of the glass-maker from the fire. All this having been carried out in order, the glass-makers bring the work to completion."
– Georgius Agricola, de Re Metallica
Having mastered the most primature arts of clay and iron, the intrepid student and aspiring alchemist may then proceed further on, in developing a more expanded understanding of the solidified juices, by mastering the arts of Ceramics & Crucibles. Ceramics & Crucibles allows you to create crucibles, by which glass bottles can be blown from panes.
About
An Unburnt Crucible must be fired in a Lit Kiln to produce a Crucible. Clicking on the fully fired Ceramics & Crucibles to remove it from the Kiln, will cause you to automatically Lift it.
1x Charcoal is required to fully fuel up a Crucible. In order to be used it must then be lit with a Torch or Tinder Drill. When using a Crucible there is a chance to receive a Prince Rupert's Drop in addition to the item you are crafting.
