About The new world is made up of many different terrain types, also known as biomes, many with are home to unique animals and items. Plains Plains biomes tend to be open flatland with few Trees. Badlands Crag Grassland Fen A fen is not quite a forest but not quite a plain. There are typically less Trees in a fen than in a forest.
