Shovels Equipping Any Shovel allows you to Dig most biomes, remove Paving, Uproot Bushes, and Destroy Tree Stumps faster. The higher tier the Shovel, the faster it completes these actions. Shovel Speed Notes Wooden Shovel Slow Metal Shovel Moderate Steel Shovel Fast Undertaker Shovel Fastest NOT subject to Madness Event. WARNING! Using a Shovel with any Madness levels runs the risk of it permanently becoming an unusable Questionably Effective Shovel. A Garden Shovel does NOT count as Any Shovel.
