Timber Rattler

About Timber Rattler is an aggressive creature that can applies the Poisoned effect to player. When a character is poisoned, their Phlegm gradually drains until it inevitably reaches zero. When the Phlegm is completely drained, the character will be knocked out. Timber Rattler's are the most dominant creature in the Badlands and Crag biomes so be particularly observant in these areas. Timber Rattlers sometimes spawn when lifting up Old Logs or rocks. Take note that timber ratter will sink if killed over shallow water. Fighting Timber Rattler can cause Poisoned debuff, it will drain your humor and KO you, and this will not expired over time, you can only cure it with Rattler Serum. If you want to hunt it, trying to kill it as fast as possible to avoid getting hit. The safest way is aggro it with slingshot shoot a stone, and bullrun to stun it, run away and repeat. If you are Poisoned, you can purchase Rattler Serum at the Providence Stalls for 250 Silver Pieces, usually other players sell it much cheaper, or you can use Etterfang to craft one. Resources A Timber Rattler, once killed, can be picked up and stored in your Inventory as a Dead Timber Rattler, when picking up a Dead Timber Rattler there is a chance to receive a Rainbow Scales. With the Hideworking skill, Butchering a Timber Rattler will yield: Raw Timber Rattler Skin x 1 With all relevant butchering skills (Field Dressing, Butcher's Thrift, Butchery and Venison Cuisine), butchering a single Timber Rattler will yield: Meat Shreds x 2 Raw Timber Rattler Cut x 2 Random chance to get various rare items from butchering.
