Sawbuck is a structure which allows you to extract Fresh Boards from Logs. Notice that you can't put Hollow Logs on it.

The construction itself might be expensive for newcomers since it requires Nails, so it is advised to place it only after you found a place you want to settle.

To place a log on a sawbuck, Lift the log and right-click the structure.

A single log will yield 30 x Fresh Board, An immature Tree will produce a smaller Log which it yield fewer board , the potential yield of a Log can be increased by your Hammer & Nail Proficiency.

There's a small chance to get Coffin Plank instead of fresh board when you saw the log.
