A Rotten Log can be used anywhere as a Woodblock icon.png Woodblock in any recipes, however you should always Shake it before Splitting an Rotten Log. With Any Axe icon.png Any Axe equipped, and your volume is on and right-click the Rotten Log and and select Shake.
