After a couple of days Fruit will turn into Rotten Fruit. They cannot be planted. Eating Rotten Fruit adds a good bit of Insanity.

Rotten Fruit may be used as a Fertilizer. Players may also throw Rotten Fruit at people in the Stocks for more Full & Fed up than Tomatoes.
