A Raw Cougar Cut is received when Butchering a Cougar, or when Slicing a Raw Cougar Steak. A Roasted Cougar Cut is obtained when using a Raw Cougar Cut with the Roasted Meat recipe, additionally a Raw Cougar Cut can be Smoked in a Meatsmoker to obtain a Smoked Cougar Cut.

Any Raw Meat Cut can be split into 2x Meat Shreds by right-clicking the Raw Meat Cut and selecting "Slice", or Boiled in a Clay Pot or Copper Pot to make Meat Broth.
