A crucible requires 1 Charcoal to fill to full and must be lit with a Torch or Tinder Drill or other fire source before it can be used.

Sands are used to make Glass Panes. To make a Glass Plane, mix together 12x Sand and 12x Black Sand using the Silicate Compound recipe. Silicate Compound can then be melted down into Glass by right-clicking a Crucible and using the Glass Pane Recipe.
