About

A well cared for Calf will grow up to be a Bull or a Cow depending on its gender.

With the Hideworking skill, butchering your Cow will yield:

• Raw Cow Hide x 1

With all butchering skills acquired, butchering a Bull or Cow will yield:

• Brain x 1
• Raw Beef Steak x (Amount dependent on Productivity)
• Bones x 4

If butchering a female cow it will also yield:

• Cow Udder x 1

Random chance to get various rare items from butchering either a Bull or Cow. Chance of dropping is much higher with Viscera & Bits.

• This includes: Stringy Sinew, and Cow Tongue.

Sickness

Domesticated Animals can get sick from the cold or hunger. The Veterinarian Skill will let you craft the proper suppository, lubricate it, then administer it to cure the animal.

To cure a sick Cow craft a Madcow Suppository, then Lubricate it by selecting a Star Jelly from your inventory and right-clicking it onto the Suppository and selecting Lubricate, this will give you a Lubricated Madcow Suppository. Select this item from your inventory and right-click it onto the sick animal.
