In-Game Text

"London Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down. London Bridge is falling down, my fair Lady."

– Traditional Nursery Rhyme

Learn some Childish Things to advance further in the game. Learning Childish Things will unlock some new crafts, and will also unlock the Game Hint on Studying.

About

This skill is the first skill you learn and it opens up the pathways to all other skills.

'NOTE: You will get the Perennial Philosophy required for Childish Things for free in the Tutorial. However, if you for various reasons had 200 Silver in your bank and thus had to skip the tutorial you will have to learn this skill through ordinary studying. As PP is the rarest proficiency this may prove a challenge for some inexperienced players.

Possible methods to overcome this obstacle is:

• Buy a Dehydrated Rose in a player stall; usually available for less than 15 Silver.
• Find and Catch one Salamander (might be tricky to catch if it's your first time though).
• Find Beetles by lifting Stone Boulders, and searching Hollow Logs and Hollow Stumps.
• Feed Caterpillars until they become Bloated Cocoons, then set them free to get Partially Deformed Caterpillars.
Star Jellys are relatively commonly found and can be used to supplement the PP from Beetles and Caterpillars.

• Please see the Perennial Philosophy page for potential other sources. {{{2}}}
