About

Dravite, Phosphophyllite, Rubellite, and Uvarovite are received by chance when Sifting Rubble. However, any gem found during a Blood Moon will instead be a Blood Shard.

Each Gemstone has a Hardness which refers to its success odds when Cutting on a Gemcutter's Wheel. The Harder the Gemstone, the less chance of success. This Hardness is based on a player's Mines & Mountains Proficiency, the Mining bonus from Artifacts and RNG.

Gemstones also have a variable number of carats which can give a bonus to the gem's Affluence when cut on the Gemcutter's Wheel.

Finding a Gem while sifting reduces a bit of Insanity.
