This pacakge contains 50 charges of Flint & Steel which allow the quick and easy creation of fire. Flint & Steel also has a highly increased chance to provide a Precious Sootflake when starting a fire with it.
Flint & Steel allows for the quick lighting of fires as well as an increased chance to obtain an inspirational when doing so.

Flint & Steel is only available through the Salem Store for $1.99 USD for a pack of 5. You get 10 charges in each Flint & Steel, so the entire pack is 50 charges, or about 10 cents per fire.
Flint & Steel can be used to start light in any light-able Structure, such as a 
Bread Oven, 
Fireplace, 
Meat Smoker, 
Ore Smelter, 
Pile of Wood, 
Stove, or 
Torch. To use a Flint & Steel, select if from your inventory and right-click it on the Structure you want to light. Flint & Steel has 10 uses, each time a Fire is started a use is consumed. Unlike the craftable 
Tinder Drill, Flint & Steel has no chance to break, and it about twice as fast.
Flint & Steel is also available through the Noobie Pack for $4.99 USD which gives you only 1, but also included other helpful items.
A 
Precious Soot-Flake is be obtained by chance when lighting a Fire with a Tinder Drill or Flint & Steel. Flint & Steel has a greater chance of producing a Precious Soot-Flake than a Tinder Drill.
