AboutMetal Axe is about 25% faster (5% pr Tick) than a basic Axe. A Metal Axe can be carried in either a Journeyman Toolbelt, Novice Toolbelt, or the Master Toolbelt, additionally it can be stored in a Wooden Toolbox. AxesEquipping an Axe allows you to Chop down Trees to get Logs. The better the Axe the faster it chops. In a pinch an axe can be used to Chip Stone or Ore from a Boulders, but it's better to use a Any Pickaxe if one is available.
WARNING! Using an axe with higher Madness levels runs the risk of it permanently becoming an unusable Questionably Effective Axe.
