Pine forests are characterised by their dark green forest floors, mossy terrain features and abudant Pine trees.

Here you can find some unique landscape features such as Mossy Boulders, which can be harvested for moss, and mossy logs, which can be harvested for the biomes unique mushrooms; Honeylamp's and Monkspan's.

As for other forageables in this area you can expect to find the forest floor littered with Pine Cone's, lots of Blackberry bushes, and commonly occuring Grave Orchids. Other common flora include Devil's Wort, Lavender Blewit, Witches Hat, Morel, Sugar Caps, Huckleberries, and Milkweed Roots.

The fauna of the Pine Forest consists mostly of Rabbits, in all their varieties, along with Crows and Turkeys. No bugs, snakes, varmints or other large game animals are currently known to inhabit this forest.

The great number of nuts, berries and mushrooms available in a Pine Forest are ideal for beginners looking to collect early-game foods. Alongside the relative safety of the biome, Pine Forests are a great place for new players to establish themselves in the New World.
