*What is the effective range? In my test stealing an item from a box 6 tiles away activated the blazing brazier.
*You don't need to "light" a blazing brazier, it till automatically light itself when it detects a crime near it as long as it has coal.
*Light duration when fulfilled? Stays on for aproximatly 8 minutes after a crime them turns off. Used 1 piece of coal.  -Damminson
