 Charred Milkweed Fibre can be made by placing  Milkweed Roots inside a lit  Fireplace for about 60 seconds. Charred Milkweed Fibre can be soaked to receive  Milkweed Jute. When soaking Charred Milkweed Fibre, there is a chance to receive a  Precious Soot-Flake as well.
Soaking
Some items can be changed by submerging them into water. To do this select the item and right-click it onto  The Shallows,  Barrel, or  Big Barrel filled with Potable Water or by selecting a Bucket of  Potable Water and right-clicking into onto a soakable item. This generally uses 1 liter of Potable Water.
