Scissors allow you to remove slotted [[Artifact]]s from clothing. In order to unslot Artifacts, you need to make sure the scissors are equipped and select Craft {{i|Rags}}. This will destroy the clothing.

Getting the Artifacts back is not guaranteed - the better the scissors Keen value, the greater the chance of a successful unslotting.

About

Using this recipe turns Any Clothing icon.png Any Clothing into 2x Rags icon.png Rags. Rags count as Fibre icon.png Fibre in recipes. This chance can be raised by equipping a pair of Any Scissors icon.png Any Scissors. Selecting a Rag and right-clicking on another Rag and selecting "Roll" will create a Ball of Rags icon.png Ball of Rags.

Scissors

Having Any Scissors icon.png Any Scissors equipped while making Rags icon.png Rags from Any Clothing icon.png Any Clothing will increase your chance of recovering some or all of the Artifacts Slotted into that Clothing. The higher the Scissors' Keen, the better the chance of recovering your Artifacts. Once a pair of Scissors reaches 100% wear they will break.
