 Rabbits are found abundantly throughout the New World. Rabbits make an excellent source of meat and hides for weaker pilgrims.
Take note that rabbit will sink if killed over shallow water.
Following form list all 3 kind of rabbit, each of them have different color and slightly adjusted stats.

|
This bunny exhibits a red-hue color, with highest HP, move slower.

This bunny exhibits a greyish color, with lower HP, move faster.

These exhibit a brownish color, with lowest HP.

Fighting
A Rabbit is easily killed using a  Punch, Stomp or  Uppercut. aggro it with any attack (example:  shoot with Slingshot), walking away until the Rabbit runs at you, then hitting it again as it approaches, repeating until the Rabbit is dead.
WARNING! Some Rabbits may actually be a  March Hare in disguise and will transform when attacked. Caution when attacking pure white Rabbits.
Resources
A Rabbit, once killed, can be picked up and stored in your Inventory as a  Dead Rabbit, when picking up a Dead Rabbit there is a chance to receive a  Carrot.
With the Hideworking skill, Butchering a rabbit will yield:
With all relevant butchering skills (Field Dressing, Butcher's Thrift, Butchery and Venison Cuisine), butchering a single rabbit will yield:
Random chance to get various rare items from butchering. Chance of dropping, and sometimes also the potential quantity, is much higher with Viscera & Bits.
