 Pinecones can be found on the ground in the  Coniferous Biome, or by right-clicking a  Spruce Tree and selecting "Gather Pinecone". Right-clicking on a Pinecone and selecting "Remove Cone Scales" will give you will give you a mix of  Pine Nuts,  Pinecone Scales, and uncommonly,  Oddly Shaped Pinecone Scales. A Pinecone is an Ignitable Item which becomes a  Flaming Pinecone when lit. When picking up Pinecones from the Coniferous biome you will rarely receive a Baby Squirrel.
